Newport Coffee House: Your Cozy Cafe Destination in Evanston

First time! Barista myself so looking for new coffee spots and this place was super cute, quiet, lowkey but everyone knew about it! Coffee - A FREAKIN MAZINGGGGG! Only downfall was there was only one food pastry I’ll be back though! Friendly staff, latte art, and warmth made it worth while!

Great spot for coffee and baked goods! First time visit today. Ordered a latte and gluten free berry scone. Delicious! Menu board has great smoothie options, plus a case of other healthy goodies. Interior is well designed and super clean. Will be back to visit

Newport Cafe is my Happy place! Ever since I've been visiting Evanston I love relaxing here and getting a garlic knot pastry and hot or cold beverage on a daily basis. This cafe has greatly improved my mental wellbeing just because of the truly kind hearted and welcoming staff that make this cafe so enjoyable for their guests. I've loved every drink I've purchased here whether it's the green smoothie, iced chai, lavender lattes, or iced chai. The barristas here really know how to create a truly delicious coffee or smoothie and the quiche, pastries and cookies are all made her homemade daily on the premises. I highly recommend the ham and cheese croissants and savory garlic knots. Being here is addictive. I see the same group of happy repeat guests here weekly and the ambiance here is always creative and cheerful. Today Ella and Lex were here to listen intently to my stories and spread their wisdom If you're visiting Evanston or live here permanently you need to try this cute and extremely cheerful coffee house and cafe. The croissants are super buttery and it's good to know they prepare everything here for your enjoyment.

Quite expensive for two Americanos. I ordered a small iced Americano and it was okay. It had a mediocre flavor and I would have loved for it to be stronger. My mom ordered a hot americano with half and half. She said it tasted weird. When she tried mine, she said it was better. So I'm not sure if they use different coffee beans for hot and cold drinks, but it wasn't satisfying. The inside felt like an office --> that's the way my mom described it. Everyone was working on their computers/iPads. I guess it is a nice cafe to get work done. Meaning the music was not too loud. There is a public parking lot nearby and seating outside.

Perfect cappuccino and amazing food! The manager also let our bikes in as well (we cycle from Chicago downtown so that was a great thing to do for us). Recommend 100%. Price was very fair as well

A cute little cafe in Evanston! My go-to drink is the Oat Maple Cold Brew, which is always delicious. It’s a very busy spot, though, so finding a seat can be tricky. But it definitely fits my aesthetic and vibe. The bathrooms are also well-maintained, which is always a plus. I’ll definitely return whenever I get the chance!

Clean, safe, neat, friendly first visit my recommendation would be latte, quiche, and overnight oats. Environment is definitely 5 star the atmosphere is bright and the vibe is warm. Great space for reading or clearing your head with a warm cup of coffee. This is the boost i needed to finish the day strong and happy
